Glendarroch is a family run 3 star bed & breakfast (B&B) in the sunny seaside town of Largs,
Ayrshire, Scotland. Mae and Stewart Henderson have run this guest house for 17 years.
The accommodation is located on Irvine Road, only two minutes away from the Largs town centre,
ferry terminal and railway
station, and is very easy to find. You are
only 1 minute away from Morrison's, and only two minutes from the beautifully
maintained seafront. It's location couldn't be any better for all types of
visitors. The Ferry to Millport is only 3 minutes away, and with Glasgow and
Prestwick airports both only 30 minutes away, this means that Glendarroch is
ideally positioned for all forms of transport.
Unlike most Largs hotels we have a family room that sleeps 4 adults, also a twin and double room.
All rooms are on the ground floor except for the family room.
Every room in this largs b and b is en-suite and has free WiFi and a freeview
32" LCD TV on a swivel bracket. No smoking,
coffee and tea amenities and ample 'off road' parking.
The local towns around about Largs are Skelmorlie, Fairlie, Kilbirnie, West
Kilbride and Seamill and further a field are the 3 towns called Ardrossan,
Saltcoats and Stevenston. To the north of Skelmorlie lie the biggest local town
in Greenock that offer some really charismatic golf courses.
Largs also has two beautifully run local golf courses in Kelburn golf club and
Routenburn golf club only 3 and 5 minutes away respectively. Of course for those
real golf enthusiasts, the famous Royal Troon is only 30 minutes away with Royal
Turnberry only a further 30 minutes beyond that. The Royal and Ancient British
Open is regularly played on these courses. Other golf courses within easy 10
minute travel are Kilbirnie and Skelmorlie golf courses.
